With 20 years in employee relations, human resource management and training, Nicola is an experienced people leader, employee relations practitioner and trainer/facilitator. Nicola has extensive expertise in project managing, designing and implementing leadership, management and employee relations training initiatives to achieve business outcomes. Nicola is also involved in on-going coaching arrangements to assist the embedding of learning in the workplace.


Over several years Nicola gained firsthand leadership experience managing a national training and development team in the resources industry. In this role she partnered with clients to design, implement, facilitate, coordinate and assess various training and development programs.

Having project managed numerous national and international programs for resource industry employers, Nicola works with stakeholders at all levels within organisations to implement programs to foster employee engagement and cultural change. Nicola has also partnered with a number of major resource entities to design training initiatives focused on enhancement of leadership skills at the frontline leader and emerging leader levels.


Nicola constantly draws on her extensive hands-on employee relations experience including enterprise bargaining, unfair dismissals, performance management, discipline, workplace investigations and strategic employee relations advice as well as her own leadership experiences within the resources industry to assist with organisations unique business requirements.

Nicola has demonstrated experience working with all levels of people within organisations including advising human resource team members, executive management team members and employees at site/shopfront level. Nicola is experienced at taking models used within organisations and incorporating these into development programs.

Nicola is passionate about the importance of being proactive in relation to educating employees regarding discrimination, harassment and bullying in order to prevent unacceptable behaviours occurring. Nicola has extensive experiences in designing and delivering educational campaigns on this topic throughout Australia.
